Dr. Karla Censon is a dedicated general dentist and proud owner of KindCare Family Dentistry in Caldwell, New Jersey. With a diverse healthcare background spanning two countries, she brings years of clinical experience, compassion, and a strong commitment to providing personalized, comprehensive dental care.

 

Dr. Censon began her dental career in the Philippines, where she practiced dentistry and owned her own dental practice for several years. After moving to the United States, she pursued nursing and worked as an emergency room nurse for a couple of years. Her experience in emergency medicine strengthened her skills in patient care, critical thinking, and remaining calm under pressure, further shaping her compassionate approach to healthcare.

 

Driven by her passion for dentistry, she returned to the profession and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree with honors from Boston University. She subsequently practiced as an associate dentist in New Jersey, gaining valuable experience and refining her approach to modern, patient-centered dentistry.

 

Her clinical interests include cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, preventive dentistry, and comprehensive restorative care. She believes in combining clinical excellence with clear communication, helping patients understand their treatment options and make confident decisions about their oral health.

 

In November 2026, Dr. Censon began an exciting new chapter as the owner of KindCare Family Dentistry. Her vision is to create a welcoming dental home where patients feel comfortable, respected, and genuinely cared for. She is equally committed to fostering a positive, collaborative environment where her team feels valued and inspired to provide exceptional care.

 

Outside the dental office, Dr. Censon enjoys staying active through playing tennis, hiking, and trail running. She appreciates the balance that spending time outdoors and pursuing an active lifestyle brings to her personal and professional life.
